Angus & Friends, Scotland, April 2024

Dear Sonam (Choden), Ulli and Sonam (Choeden)

Many thanks indeed for arranging our very enjoyable trip to Bhutan. It was a truly magical experience with a perfect balance between culture and hiking, hotel and homestay accommodation/visits. A beautiful country with stunning scenery, awesome temples, healthy/tasty food and such friendly people.

While we were sad to miss Sonam (Choden) — though much appreciated her family’s hospitality — Sonam (Chopel), very ably supported by Karma and Wangchen, looked after us superbly; Sonam’s knowledge, insights and love of both Bhutan and the Buddhist approach to life, added hugely to our holiday and his mischievous sense of humour was especially appreciated.

Ulli — your vision for Bhutan Homestay is spot on for showing what Bhutan is all about, Sonam (Choden) thank you so much for making the introductions to Bhutan Homestay and your incredibly hospitable family.

Sonam (Choeden) — your meticulous organisation skills are very much admired.

So much to be grateful for.

Kind regards

Angus

I just wanted to say a huge thank you from James and myself. We had the trip of a lifetime and as the others have already said, it was perfectly organised and managed by yourselves. Nothing was any trouble, even when we said we were unable to join the trip from the beginning, the coordination and meeting up was perfect. It was all a bit of a shock when we got home and found we had to think for ourselves again! You arranged a great balance of activities, accommodation, information and interest, all of which was made so much fun by our wonderful team, Sonam, Karma and Wangchen.

Huge thanks to yourself and the rest of the Homestay team for all your hard work . It really was the most amazing experience!

Kind regards
