Sonam Pelden hails from the beautiful village Jabana in Paro district. She holds a diploma in hospitality from Delhi and is very passionate about her country and profession. Sonam started working in tourism in 2015 and never gets tired of showing her beautiful country to her guests. She is a lovely person to be around and loves traveling, making new friends and exploring every nuke and corner of Bhutan. Admittedly, being a female guide can be quite challenging at times since she is always on the move. However, Sonam puts her guests first and wants to make sure that they are happy and enjoying.
Additionally to her cultural tour guide training Sonam keeps herself updated and also conducted a three-months Sowa Rigpa training course at the indigenous hospital in Thimphu.
