Seday’s farmstay is very traditional and located in Trongsa. A feeder road leads downhill towards the village and after approximately 5 minutes drive you can walk up to the farmhouse from the road point. The young lady of the house will be happy to welcome you into her home. The village is sprinkled over steep rice fields and if the weather is good you have wonderful views of the valley. You can hike downhill and visit the village lhakhang and another beautiful private Guru lhakhang if the house owners are around. You can also observe typical seasonal farm work and taste the delicious local rice. Aum Seday is the young “Nangi Aum”, the lady of the house. Her mother often spends time with another grandchild in Thimphu and her father most of the time dedicates his life to prayers in a remote goenpa. Life is busy in this picturesque village and you will get to observe some of the agricultural tasks first hand. Aum Seday does not speak English, nevertheless she is very talkative and friendly. Here you will experience real Bhutanese hospitality.
